Payment by a non-student third party
A. In case the user of the portal, for the purpose of making a payment remittance, is acting on behalf of a corporation, and should he be doing so for a person who has requested to register to the Graduate School (the applicant), then by the very act of payment remittance, he promises and confirms that:
1. He is authorized to act on behalf of the corporation, that the corporation has approved the applicant’s application and has specifically approved the remittance of said payment for the applicant.
2. The corporation complies with the above conditions, with the necessary adjustments, for payment remittance.
3. The applicant/corporation has filled in application forms required by the Graduate School.
It is the full and exclusive responsibility of the portal user, to update all of the relevant authorities (for example the bank, the credit card company, the Graduate School) of any change which may occur in this information and which is essential for effecting the remittances as required.
You are solely responsible for this. Failure to update will result in a failure to effect the payments – you will personally bear sole responsibility for this failure and you will be liable for all other expenses incurred as a result.

Cancellation of Payment
Cancellation of Payment will be directly to the Graduate School, according to the cancellation policy in force of the Graduate School .
Should the student wish to terminate his activity, he shall submit written notice, as soon as possible, to the Graduate School.
The Graduate School will act in accordance with the said cancellation policy, and if necessary will notify the credit card company of what is required.
The Graduate School is not liable for the action/s of the credit card company on this matter.
Confidentiality
Information which you will provide for the purpose of effecting remittances over the portal, will be kept in strict confidentiality in accordance with the privacy protection law, 5742 – 1982.
Limited Liability
The payment portal permits verification and evaluation of the data you have filled in and the requested payment method, prior to approving the remittances.
We recommend that you pay close attention when filling in the data as required and that you make your decisions regarding the remittances before you approve them.
The payment portal service is made available to the public wishing to participate in the activities of the Continuing and External Education Unit on an As-Is basis.
Copyrights
The texts, images, software applications, graphics and any other creation appearing in the payment portal are all the sole property of the Technion Jacobs Graduate School.
The payment portal user is permitted to make fair and reasonable use of the protected material, insofar as it is used properly and harmlessly, and provided that the origin of the material be clearly stated.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
The payment portal operates in accordance with Israeli law. The above terms of use shall be interpreted according to the statutes of the state of Israel and the judicial authority for any legal dispute concerning the use of this payment portal or concerning a payment which was made through it, shall be the relevant court of law in Haifa.
The rules of litigation under international law do not apply to the portal or to its terms of use.
